22,000 jobs to be created through Birmingham's Knowledge Quarter

21/10/25

Officially launched earlier this year, the Birmingham Knowledge Quarter is set to unlock £4billion in private sector investment, and create more than 22,000 jobs,

Backed by the UK government, the designed Investment Zone is set to create 6.2 million sq ft of commercial space and 4,800 homes. The area is focused on life sciences, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.

Positioned next to Curzon Street, the home of revolutionary upcoming railway HS2, the   strategic location of the new Knowledge Quarter will connect the area to the capital in just 49 minutes, establishing a new national innovation corridor.

The project is a joint internship between Woodbourne Group, Aston University, Birmingham City University, Bruntwood SciTech and Birmingham City Council, and is expected to become a national ‘innovation superhub’.
