Office uptake in Birmingham has soared recently, with Savills reporting the city’s strongest Q4 performance since 2017. Total office take-up reached 288,018 sq ft in Q4 2025, representing a 110% increase on Q4 2024.
The most active sector was professional services, which accounted for 40% of annual take up. Global companies such as EY, PwC and Deloitte are all based in Birmingham, offering graduate schemes and career paths to encourage the city’s young professionals to remain in the city post-graduation.
Both EY and Deloitte are expanding into larger offices at Paradise Birmingham, just a 5 minute walk from Edition Birmingham. These significant office acquisitions reaffirm the confidence in the city from these employers, with EY securing a 93,870 sq ft office, and Deloitte a 46,000 sq ft office space.
